How KareAtHome Helped Mr.Singh Post Hospitalisation

For 58 year-old Mr. Singh and his wife, Kareathome has been the key to living independently in their own home. The first clue that something was wrong came when Mr. Singh started having trouble with his balance and equilibrium - and began falling down.  His injuries ranged from cuts and bruises to a broken neck.  At the same time, Mr. Singh was diagnosed with early-stage dementia. Mrs. Singh, a woman and Benny’s wife of 55 years, knew that she needed some help if they were to continue to be able to live at home independently, since the couple’s nearest family member - a son - lived and worked more than 20 miles away.  When Mr. Singh was discharged from a hospital, staff of hospital recommended Kareathome for home care services. The match could not have been better - Kareathome assigned Certified Nursing Assistant to help take care of Mr. Singh at home - and relieve his son of some of the pressure that comes with caring for aging parents with early stage dementia.  As...

We care for your loved ones

I am 35 and have been living in Minneapolis for the last 5 years as a part of my company’s project. My wife and our son stay with my parents in Delhi. Jyoti my wife switches between her full-time job and motherhood pretty easily because my parents are healthy and active. I was recently introduced to NRI Family Health by a colleague who enrolled with their services sometime back. I thought that it was good if someone could get us a second opinion for my mom’s Irritable Bowel Syndrome and also if someone could get us green corridor access to docs and help at doing regular testing. My father goes into splits every time he has to visit a hospital of do a simple blood test. Getting him to do a regular scan is like asking toddler to play soccer. Idea behind enrolling for these services was to in ways motivate him to oblige as someone is going to do most of the hard work and all he has to do is to sit in the car and go. Well he did throw tantrums initially but then he agreed with a grudge, bu...
